A wonderful evening at Castello del Nero near Florence with our wines. Castello del Nero is a 5 stars hotel with spa and a starred restaurant. The position and the view are fantastic as usual in this part of Tuscany, here was organized a wine tasting with Vernaccia di San Gimignano wines and a dinner with the winemakers. Castello del Nero view The wine tasting was done by side of the wonderful pool, paired with traditional tuscan appetizer.  Followed the dinner with guests from all over the world.  We shared our wines with people from Houston (Texas), Sao Paolo (Brasil), Germany. On May 4th and 5th we participated to the Simply Italian Germany 2015 event held in Berlin and Munchen. There were importers from Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and obviously from Germany. Everyone showed a deep interest in Vernaccia di San Gimignano and Chianti Colli Senesi. A very interesting seminar presented many wines of Italy to German professional users and with big surprise, Vernaccia di San Gimignano was the oldest wine served, showing big body, freshness and incredible ageing potential.
